Mission Statement
The mission of MillarRich L.L.C. is to make meaningful differences in the lives of Children and Adults with disabilities so that they may realize their individual goals, develop hobbies, and learn skills so that they may become more independent and live with dignity and respect in the community.
Service Model
MillarRich provides person-centered, structured support to our individuals by using our Family Lifestyle Model. Contracted families (Family Lifestyle Teachers) provide services in their home to residential individuals that are medically fragile and/or have an intellectual disability as a primary diagnosis. We match individuals with their families based on level of care and similar interests. This helps ensure a stimulating, engaged lifestyle for our individuals and fosters long-lasting relationships.
The success of the Family Lifestyle Model developed by MillarRich is very much dependent upon our fantastic family teachers and the talented administrative group. We attribute much of their success to the model’s foundation, wherein families develop positive relationships with the individual(s) living in their home.
We feel that positive relationships are the key to long-lasting friendships, overall health and well-being. Long, enduring relationships between our families and the individuals entrusted to our care are possible with our Family Model residential services. It is estimated that national turnover rates of Direct Support Professionals who provide support to individuals in a typical staffed facility falls within a range of 50% - 65%. In comparison, the turnover rate of our Family Lifestyle Teachers since our doors opened in 2008 has averaged only 13%.
