Am I qualified to be a foster parent?
At MillarRich we give you all the tools you need to become a full time care-giver! We offer comprehensive training to become a MillarRich foster care specialist as well as daily support once you become a care giver.
Can LGBTQ couples adopt?
Yes! By working with MillarRich, LGBTQ partners and individuals in Tennessee can adopt eligible children who are currently in foster care.
Is it more difficult for LGBTQ couples to Foster?
Not with MillarRich. In Tennessee, all agencies have the right to choose who they work with. At MillarRich, it is our choice to enthusiastically support all who wish to care for a child with disabilities, no matter their gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, or religious practice.
Will I be paid as a foster parent?
Yes. Caring for individuals with disabilities will be your full time job. MillarRich provides comprehensive training and tools.
What is the cost to adopt?
Most adoptions of a child in foster care come at little or no cost to the adoptive parent! When a foster parent adopts a child they have been fostering, fees are covered by the state or other programs, as long as adoptive parents choose eligible service providers.
